| | | Dear David,
Today was the final chapter of your ceremony. Though it has been half year, those attended the service certainly were very emotional about the whole incident.
Since we our time in primary school, i still remember doing the back board decoration with you and two others. You were always the quiet and hardworking one, when the rest of us were shooting rubber bands at each other. I think you were in the boy scout yellow team as well? My memory is failing me.
I guess i owe you a thank you, for taking part in the MOE scholarship scheme, which was how my mom got to know this program and asked us to apply. That particular incidence indeed changed the course of my life. The rest, as they said, is history.
It was delightful to hear that you would become a doctor in Singapore. That was such a difficult job to get into and so noble as well. My mom and I were talking about that, and your plan of getting married in Singapore.
Then came that devastating car crash news. It was so awful to hear such a bright young doctor, full of potential and dreams, would depart so abruptly; a great great lost to everyone.
Your sudden and tragic departure certainly had huge impacts on everyone: Your family, your girl friend, your friends. Personally, you made me realise that there are things should be done, when we can, while we can.
David, it's been a pleasure to know you, we shall miss you. Wherever you are, our thoughts will be with you.
Tat Fung
